Rich Hughes has been helping new and seasoned first-line supervisors develop and expand their skills for over 30 years.
As a principal in his own firm and former partner at Booz, Allen & Hamilton he has worked with blue and white collar supervisors from more than 80 occupational groups in the public and private sector. He also has trained and coached many middle managers and executives.
He has designed and implemented comprehensive supervisor and management skill development programs for a wide-range of agencies, from city, county governments and health care to publishing, financial and service companies
He has designed and administered over 100 promotional processes for selecting new first-line supervisors (mostly assessment centers). He also has coached individual executives and managers facing challenging situations.
Rich has been active in executive and management recruitment (leading over 300 searches), team building and organizational development. He also was helped create a succession planning process for a public agency.
He is the author of the book Putting Your Best Foot Forward! This book provides creative and useful tips for individuals who want better positions in their existing organization or another.
Rich’s passion for the last three decades is helping supervisors and higher level managers to be as good as they can be in their work and reach their potential.
